SETUP AIR MESSENGER CLIENT

1. Click on Settings, Preferences and then Network
2. Set Primary Server IP Address to paging.wcrescue.com click ok your done. (NO OTHER CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE UNDER THE NETWORK TAB)
3. Click the key in the top-left hand corner of the screen just under the FILE tab to log in (MAKE SURE YOU LOG OUT WHEN YOU ARE DONE. WE ONLY HAVE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF USER LICENSES (5) for now)
4. Click on the Subscribers and/or Groups you want to send a message to, type your message in the main text box and click the button to the right of the login key to send (looks like a little mail box with an envelope)
5. Your DONE

SETUP DATABASE MANAGER

ACCESS WILL BE LIMITED TO (1) PERSON ON EACH DEPARTMENT FOR THE DATABASE MANAGER

1. Launch "AMLS Rmt DB Manger"
2. Click File, Setting, the default password is "Admin" with a capital A only
3. Set the server IP to "paging.wcrescue.com" and the server port should be port 452 (Change the Admin password) click ok
4. At the top of the screen click file then logon
5. Click databases (you should only be able to click on users and groups)

To add a user

1. click databases, users, then your agency under departments (you should only see your department to make modifications to)
2. click add
3. Enter users name Users name should use this template ( Members name (unit#) (device) (agency)) EXAMPLE: Andy Tucker     (200) (c)(WCR)

4. Security Level should be set to:

5. Enter "Primary Destination"

YOU MUST HAVE A TEXTING PLAN OR BE ABLE TO RECEIVE EMAILS ON YOUR CELL PHONES FOR THIS TO WORK!!

6. Leave SECONDARY DESTINATION BLANK!!

 7. Under Options User Enabled should be checked

8. NO OTHER SETTING SHOULD BE CHANGED.

9. Click OK and your done. (It is recommended you log onto the client program and send a test    page to make sure your up and running.)

TO SETUP GROUPS

1. log on to Remote Database Manager
2. Click Databases, Groups
3. Click your agency Name then add
4. Group Name (Name your Group Chief officer's, EMT's ETC.)
5. Move two or more user over to the group list and change the security level to 40 (or you will not be able to see the group)
6. you should not have to change anyother settings, click the check mark and your done. Make sure you can see the group in the client program under groups

Note: you will need to make an all page group for your agency (please list it as your agencies Name (Gott FD, Alvaton FD ETC.)) also if you are makeing other groups for your agency please add your dept. name into it some how (GFD officer's or AFD EMT'S ETC.)

NOTES:

(2) contacts must be added to your agency before you can set-up groups.

It take about 12-20 seconds per device to send out. if you are sending a message to (5) people it would be about 60 seconds to 1:40 to send out. (The speed depends on how long the message is, shorter message send out faster than longer ones.)

To add users for your agency to send pages with the client program send a list of names with unit #'s to atucker@wcrescue.com 

We will NOT be useing a blanket user name and password for each agency. If you are going to use the system you MUST have your own user name and password.
